National Mathematics Day is celebrated on 22 December annually to commemorate the birth anniversary of the famous mathematician Mr. Srinivasa Ramanujan. The day is important for mathematics teachers and students. It is celebrated to raise awareness about the importance of Mathematics across the country. Another important aim to remember this day is for the development production, and dissemination of teaching-learning materials (TLM) for Mathematics and research.
