The Balakrishnan Foundation is quietly assisting civilians affected by a series of curfews at Nungambakkam Chennai.

 

The Balakrishnan Foundation, based at Josier Street, Nungambakkam, Chennai, distributed relief items to Poor people affected by the Corona series of curfews.

Balakrishnan Foundation Trustee Surendran, Tamil Nadu Drivers and Workers Welfare Association Vice President Matheswaran presented & given the rice bag to the public.

More than a hundred of these poor, simple people wore face shields and received relief items following the social gap systematically.

Speaking to reporters later, Chennai Balakrishnan Foundation Trustee Surendran said, “Our Balakrishnan Foundation is a big charity. Launched by Sukumar Balakrishnan, President of our Foundation, the Foundation has been doing a variety of assistance to the community.

In order to help the people who are suffering from loss of livelihood due to the current corona affected curriculum crisis, we have adopted the agricultural village of Sambandi Nallur in Madurantakam taluka and provided financial assistance to Village People.

He also said that in Chennai, we are currently providing assistance to more than a thousand people in Nungambakkam, Mylapore, Vyasarpadi, Perambur, Kannikapuram, Thirumperumbudur and Thiruverkadu.

Office staff including Durai and Senthil Arul were present at the event.
